Digital Public Infrastructure: Building a Safer, More Resilient Digital Ecosystem in the United States and Beyond

OpenMined’s Policy Lead, Lacey Strahm, was delighted to participate in New America’s Digital Impact and Governance Initiative (DIGI), which focused on digital public infrastructure (DPI) in the United States. As an output of the initiative, a series of articles were created to examine factors that could shape the implementation of DPI and offer recommendations for U.S. leadership and action. The collection features multiple sections, including an assessment of DPI potential in the U.S., lessons from international DPI efforts, risk management, and collaboration strategies. Ultimately, the collection aims to explore whether DPI could serve as a foundational approach for creating a safer, more resilient digital ecosystem in the United States and beyond.
